Houston Symphony honors Clear Lake High's Buffaloe

Bryan Buffaloe, manager and executive director of the Bay Area Youth Symphony, recently was honored by the Houston Symphony with a 2008 Fidelity FutureStage Award for dedication to youth music programs.
Buffaloe also is director of orchestras at Clear Lake High School.
He founded the youth symphony in 2006 to provide students in the Southeast Houston area an opportunity to perform in a high-level musical ensemble to enrich their music education.
The award includes a $1,000 gift for the honoree's music program.
