Orchestras take top state honors

The Clear Lake High School Full Orchestra was named Texas State Honor Orchestra and performed under the direction of Bryan Buffaloe, Kevin Black and John Law on Feb. 11 in the Lila Cockrell Theatre in downtown San Antonio at the Texas Music Educators Association conference attended by 35,000 people. CLHS has placed in the top five for several years, but this is this first time since 1991 CLHS has won the top state honor.
